Our Noise is a high octane rock trio from Toronto/ NYC. Founded on the city streets of Toronto in the late 90s, original members had previously cut their teeth in popular 90s bands Acid Test and later Cornelius joined Danko Jones. After reconnecting in 2019, Di Santo, Fall, and Cornelius revived Our Noise after an impromptu jam session at NYC's Funkadelic Studios in Manhattan. The triad connected again w/Fall/ Cornelius sketching ideas after late night walks around Central Park and recording ideas at Cornelius's Manhattan apt. These were sent to Di Santo back in Toronto . Di Santo's unique vocal phrasing and lyrical landscapes cuppled with her dual role playing equally funk oriented bass lines and a powerful album began to take shape. The basic tracks were recorded at Star Sound Studio in Cape Coral Florida w/Drew Howard. These tracks were then taken back to Toronto where the group continue to record at Phase One Studios with producer Dariu Szczepaniak.
After an extensive 3 month US West Coast and Central US Tour ( including electrifying performances at SXSW and Treefort) , an East Coast US tour, Our Noise released its Debut album with Epictronic Records in 2024 . Select East US summer 2024 dates followed by a introduction UK date in London in Oct 2024. This London date helped promote 2 remixes ; a remix of the track 'FLA' the first by Mark Gardener ( of Ride fame) at his Ox4sound Studio and a second remix by Peter Holstrum ( The Dandy Warhols ) of the track ' Blackmail' . To date , these 2 remixes are out as digital releases, future plans include these 2 tracks to be a part of a remix album ep as phyical copies on cd and vinyl in 2027.
Currently , Our Noise has just completed a forthcoming ( 2027) new album produced and engineered by the Legendary Martin Bisi at his BC Studio in Brookyn NY.
